The story of a photographer

When I first pick up a camara I was amazing and confused. There was so much information to process things like shutter speed, Fstops, ISO, metering and color balance, all these intricate elements that make up a photo, and I was thoroughly overwhelmed. But I was also excited to be learning a new way to speak, to express myself, and explore others and their unique languages and stories. As I studied photography, I realized how much I loved it and how much it gave back to me. With every picture that I took, I learned something different. I began to see how light played into the overall picture dynamic, and as I begin to see the light, I was able to frame it in a way to capture different moods, express different feelings, and create images that exposed the beauty of our humanity. This is the poetry of photography.
